Experience: 5-10 Years Location: Kolkata Education: An Engineer or MCA would be preferred, other Graduates may be considered Salary: As per industry standards Role: SOFTWARE ENGINEER Desired Candidate Profile: MUST have worked extensively on Android and related Technology stack for Mobile Applications development & Support. Well versed with Android frameworks and Rest APIs. Strong communication skills in English to communicate with the clients directly. Technical Skills • Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits • Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform. • Working with Android SDK with Eclipse and Android Studio. • Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON. • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs. • Database technologies (SQLite, MySQL or similar) for handling API's. • Mobile development life cycle and mobile UI Design • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. • Knowledge of APIs and testing • Good knowledge of various Java design patterns • Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning • Solid understanding of data structures and ORM • Enough knowledge on the code versioning tool like Maven • Problem solving skills, algorithmic skills and data structures • Must have published three or more Android apps in the play store. Other Technologies / Skills: 1. Knowledge of JAVA technologies for developing web services. 2. Knowledge of Hybrid technologies for Mobile Apps 3. Must have a go getter attitude with strong communication skills Principal Responsibilities o To provide software development skills and be responsible for developing and testing an allocated area to the agreed standards and quality practices. o Carry-out unit testing of the developed software components o Carry-out performance testing optimization, if required o Product documentation to agreed standard o Efficiently handle product support issues and problem resolutions o Deliver work to agreed timescales and standards. o Must have worked on Interface development, implementation and Testing. o Knowledge of Data conversion, loading and testing
